Terms and conditions
Effective date: 15 May 2026
These Terms govern access to Zesty, a restaurant operations platform for QR ordering, kitchen workflow, billing, inventory, staff access, analytics, mobile workflows, contact requests, and priority support tickets.
Accounts and authority
Users must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and use Zesty only for lawful restaurant operations. Organization owners and admins are responsible for inviting users, assigning roles, reviewing permissions, enabling security controls where appropriate, and removing access when staff leave.
If you create or administer an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for that restaurant, brand, franchise, or operating entity.
Restaurant responsibilities
Restaurants are responsible for menu legality and accuracy, prices, taxes, invoices, food licenses, GST and FSSAI information where applicable, customer notices, order fulfillment, refunds, staff actions, customer communications, exported data, and compliance with food-service, consumer, tax, payment, privacy, and employment obligations.
Zesty provides software tools. Zesty does not operate the restaurant, prepare food, employ restaurant staff, provide accounting advice, or act as the merchant of record unless a separate written agreement says so.
Customer ordering and operations
QR ordering, table sessions, POS, kitchen display, billing, payment requests, refund workflows, customer feedback, staff workflows, and mobile workflows must be used only for legitimate restaurant operations. Restaurants should verify menu availability, tax settings, payment mode, and customer-facing information before service.
Subscriptions, plans, and paid features
Paid plans renew according to the billing terms shown at checkout or in a written/manual commercial arrangement. Access to paid features depends on successful payment capture, valid provider subscription status, correct plan mapping, and active organization status.
Free and Silver plans do not include priority support ticket creation. Gold, Enterprise, and eligible custom/manual paid plans include priority support for owner/admin users. Zesty may downgrade, suspend, or restrict paid features for failed, cancelled, expired, refunded, disputed, unmapped, or abusive payment activity.
Payments and providers
Payment providers such as Razorpay and other configured providers may process subscriptions, restaurant payments, and related verification data under their own terms. Restaurants are responsible for payment settlement, reconciliation, UPI review, refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and provider dashboard actions.
Support tickets and support access
Eligible paid organization owners or admins may create priority support tickets, reply to ticket threads, attach relevant files, and close tickets. Attachments must be lawful, relevant, and free of malicious content.
When an eligible admin allows support-team access for debugging, support access is audited. Zesty may refuse or end support access if the request is unsafe, abusive, unrelated to the service, or missing necessary context.
Acceptable use
Users must not attempt unauthorized access, bypass tenant boundaries, scrape or exfiltrate data, upload malware, disrupt service reliability, misuse payment or messaging systems, send unlawful communications, impersonate others, manipulate plans or entitlements, or use Zesty for fraudulent or illegal activity.
Data and integrations
Restaurants control the operational and customer data they enter into Zesty. Zesty may process data through third-party providers for hosting, database, storage, authentication, email, messaging, payments, analytics, monitoring, and support as described in the Privacy Policy.
Restaurants are responsible for configuring and maintaining connected services, credentials, webhooks, tax settings, outlet details, and staff permissions.
Changes to service
Zesty may change features, pricing, plans, limits, providers, APIs, integrations, support workflows, and product surfaces as the platform evolves. We may release preview or test-mode features that are not suitable for production use.
Suspension and termination
Zesty may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, misuse, legal risk, suspected fraud, provider issues, violation of these Terms, or organization lifecycle states such as suspended or archived. Some records may be retained for audit, billing, tax, support, security, or legal reasons.
Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Zesty is provided without warranties beyond those expressly agreed in writing. Zesty is not liable for restaurant operations, food quality, customer disputes, staff misuse, tax filings, accounting decisions, provider outages, lost profits, indirect damages, or data entered incorrectly by restaurant teams.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory dispute resolution requirements under applicable law, courts in India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, Zesty, or use of the platform.
