Plans And Billing

Choose a plan, pay monthly or yearly, run the 14-day trial, and understand pilots, coupons, and what happens when a payment fails.

Your plan decides which modules appear, how many Locations you can run, and how many staff can sign in. You pick it during onboarding and can change it later from Settings → Billing.

Billing is one subscription for the whole workspace, not one per Location. Prices are in ₹ and exclude GST.

Enterprise₹19,999 flatEverything in Gold, plus white-label branding and rollout support. Own delivery included

Each plan includes everything in the plans below it, and no limit goes down as you move up. Moving from QR menu to Basic, for example, never takes QR ordering away.

Own delivery

Own delivery is Zesty's first-party delivery: your riders, your delivery zones and fees, and guests paying cash on delivery or by UPI to your own UPI ID. It is never a Swiggy or Zomato integration. Enterprise includes it. On Gold it is an add-on at ₹499 per Location per month; ask Zesty to switch it on. The QR menu, Basic, and Silver plans do not offer delivery.

A delivery paid by UPI waits for you: the kitchen does not start it, and no rider can be assigned or sent out, until you approve the guest's UPI payment. Cash on delivery never waits; the rider records the cash at the door.

QR ordering is in every paid plan. On the QR menu plan it is the whole service: guests order from one QR code, and the owner accepts each order, marks it ready, and confirms the payment on the Orders screen. Guests pay at the counter or by UPI straight to you; Zesty never takes a guest's money. The QR menu plan is one Location and one login at ₹499 a month with no trial, and has no kitchen display, Billing, or Tables. Basic adds Billing, Tables, and a simple kitchen display with KOT for one kitchen station, and Silver and above include the full kitchen display with several stations and station routing.

Basic's three logins have no clock-in or scheduling: the team works under the Location shift, and the owner invites them from People & Access. Its dashboard shows a sales summary for today, yesterday and the last seven days; the full Sales and Analytics screens come with Silver. See Staff, roles, and access for how a Basic team signs in and runs the day.

Location and staff-login limits come from the live plan catalog, so the counts shown on the pricing page and inside the workspace are always the ones actually enforced.

Locations and monthly allowances

Basic11,0002,500
Silver13,0006,000
Gold38,00015,000
Enterprise525,00040,000

The Location count includes your main Location and any inactive ones. If your workspace already has more Locations than its plan now allows, you keep every one of them; you cannot add another until you are under the limit. Extra Locations on a plan will be sold per Location later.

Online orders are the ones guests place themselves: table and counter QR, takeaway, and delivery. Customer messages are the WhatsApp and SMS messages Zesty sends your guests, sign-in codes included. Going over never stops an order or a message. The extra is billed at the end of the month: ₹49 for each started block of 100 extra online orders, and ₹0.50 for each extra message. Settings → Billing shows this month's usage and warns you at 80% and again at 100%.

A guest gets at most three messages for an order: the order confirmation, the code that verifies their phone when they sign in for delivery or loyalty, and a message when the order is delivered or collected. Every other update (accepted, ready, out for delivery, paid) reaches them as a push notification and on the live order page. Messages go by WhatsApp and fall back to SMS when WhatsApp cannot deliver.

Monthly or yearly

Basic, Silver, and Gold can be paid yearly. A year costs ten months' price, so two months are free:

PlanMonthlyYearlyWorks out to
Basic₹1,499₹14,990₹1,249 a month
Silver₹3,499₹34,990₹2,916 a month
Gold₹7,999₹79,990₹6,666 a month

Choose the interval with the Monthly / Yearly toggle on the pricing page before you sign up, or on Settings → Billing → Change plan once you are inside. The QR menu plan and Enterprise are monthly only; picking Yearly leaves them at their monthly price.

A yearly subscription renews once every twelve months. A monthly one renews every month. The renewal date always comes from the payment provider, so it is the date shown on your billing page that counts.

Yearly is a separate price, not a discount applied at checkout. That means pilot codes and coupons do not apply to yearly plans — both are monthly-only. If you have a code, choose Monthly.

The 14-day trial

Basic, Silver, and Gold include a 14-day trial. The trial unlocks the modules of the plan you chose, not every module in Zesty, so what you try during the trial is what you keep when the trial ends. The QR menu plan has no trial: onboarding ends at checkout for ₹499 a month.

The trial runs while you set up. Onboarding ends on a review page where you confirm the plan, apply a code if you have one, and pay. You are not asked for a card before you have a workspace to look at.

Changing plans

From Settings → Billing → Change plan:

  • Upgrading takes effect immediately, so the new modules appear right away.
  • Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, so you keep what you paid for until then.
  • Switching between monthly and yearly is a plan change like any other. Pick the interval, then the plan.

Modules that your new plan does not include stop appearing once the change takes effect. Your data is not deleted; it becomes visible again if you move back up.

The ₹500 pilot

A pilot code lets one restaurant run a selected plan at ₹500 a month for a fixed 90-day window before regular pricing begins. Codes are issued by the Zesty team, bound to one workspace and one plan, and can be used once.

What to know before you accept one:

  • The 90 days start at your first successful ₹500 payment and end exactly 90 calendar days later. A late or failed payment never pauses or extends the window.
  • A failed payment suspends access immediately at that renewal. The usual seven-day grace period does not apply to pilots. Paying again inside the window restores access for the rest of it.
  • At most three ₹500 charges are taken.
  • Card payment only.
  • After day 90 you continue on the regular price of the plan you were using.

Enter the code under Zesty coupon on the review page. The page shows the ₹500 price, the regular price it returns to, and asks you to accept that before you pay.

Coupons

A coupon is a percentage off a monthly plan for a set number of billing cycles — one, three, six, or twelve. Like pilot codes, coupons are bound to one workspace and one plan and carry a deadline by which they must be used.

Apply one on the review page. It shows the discounted amount, how many cycles it covers, and what the price returns to afterwards. A coupon applied to a subscription you already have takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

Zesty AI

Zesty AI is a paid add-on shown as coming soon. Its purchase controls are hidden until it is available, so you cannot accidentally buy something that is not ready. Tier pricing appears alongside your plan when it launches.

When a payment fails

If a renewal fails, Zesty keeps your billing page reachable so you can fix the payment method, but operational access pauses. Staff see a message pointing at billing rather than a broken workspace.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions have a seven-day grace period after a failed renewal. Pilots do not — access ends at the renewal boundary.

Recovering is a matter of updating the card and letting the retry succeed, or paying from the billing page. Nothing is deleted while a subscription is lapsed.

Invoices

Settings → Billing lists every invoice with its status, amount, and payment details, and links to the provider's invoice for each one. Invoices carry the plan name and description as they were at the time of the charge.
