Analytics, Sales, Expenses, And Shift Close

Understand operating dashboards, sales reports, payment mix, expenses, staff performance, alerts, and daily close-out.

Analytics turn operating events into a daily review surface. The numbers are only useful when orders, payments, inventory, expenses, and staff actions are kept current.

Dashboard and sales

Use the dashboard and sales workspaces to review net revenue, order count, average order value, payment mix, refunds, cancellations, item performance, and sales trends.

Payment analytics

Payment analytics depend on accurate settlement state. Reconcile cash, UPI, card, payment-provider status, refunds, and split tender before using reports for owner decisions.

Expenses

Record expenses with title, vendor, amount, category, date, payment method, and approval status. Attachments should be relevant and safe to store.

Shift desk

Shift desk helps teams open, monitor, and close the day. Use it to match cash and UPI, review sales, and capture close-out context before handover.

Alerts

Operational alerts surface low stock, mismatches, or other issues that need attention. Keep delivery channels current so alerts reach the right staff.

Reports are decision support

Zesty reports help operators review the day. Restaurants should verify reports before using them for accounting, tax filing, procurement, staffing, or legal decisions.

Zesty Assistant

Zesty Assistant can help teams review operating context and ask product questions when enabled. Treat assistant output as guidance that must be checked against live orders, reports, and manager judgment.
